For Tim Peirson, “Art is in the blood”. Coming from a family that has produced several professional artisans, his natural bent has always been to the arts. His interest in the make up field began while watching “Planet of the Apes” in the early 1970’s. In June of 1993 after several years of training, Tim received his certification in Special Make Up Effects and Character work from the Academy Award Winning Makeup Master and Teacher Dick Smith (Amadeus 1984). In 1992 having been influenced by the late great Robert McKinley, (National Institute of American Doll Artists), Mr. Peirson added doll making to his rep- ertoire, and now along with his wife Cheryl, produce unique one of a kind creations. The sculptors that have influenced Tim the most are Jordu Schell, Casey Love, Greg Polutanovich, Miles Teves and Steve Wang, just to name a few.
